Integrated Rim-Mounted Foam Dams
For floating roof storage tanks
Engineered foam dam systems designed to support rim-space fire protection by helping contain and direct fire-fighting foam where it is needed most.
Overview
Integrated rim-mounted foam dams are used on floating roof storage tanks to support fire protection within the rim space, where ignition risks can occur around the perimeter of the floating roof.
Installed at the rim of the floating roof, the foam dam creates a defined containment area that helps channel fire-fighting foam towards the source of a rim-space fire. This supports more effective foam application while helping reduce foam loss and improve response efficiency during emergency conditions.
DirecTank integrated rim-mounted foam dams are designed to accommodate roof movement, tank geometry, and operational requirements while providing a durable, corrosion-resistant solution for demanding aboveground storage tank environments.
